Summary:
Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis.
Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders.
Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner.
File claims when defective products are discovered.
Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments.
Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed.
Establish trusted relationships with partners and suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-effective deals.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000

Job Specific Responsibilities:
Provide weekly reporting of on-hand, consumed and defective material.
Maintain segregation of customer vs. non-customer material.
Learn and become proficient on various Supply Chain tools and processes: Konnect, SFDC, SharePoint, SmartStores.
Open "cases" which allows the proper management and ordering of material.
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in supply chain roles and organizations. Able to apply developed network for rapid and effective problem solving.
Experience in a high demand role managing multiple parts and high-volume rotations.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to influence people in other organizations and other functional groups to complete tasks on time and at quality necessary to ensure success.
An understanding of administrative/clerical software and inventory management software is especially helpful.
High level of initiative and independence
Must be onsite daily at Los Alamos National Library
